Dr. Stephanie Dorais

I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and trauma using Internal Family System based techniques, EMDR, and Gestalt Therapy. I work mostly with young adults, but I see individuals of all ages. My therapeutic approach includes helping individuals reintegrate a fractured sense of self, resolve inner battles, and reclaim a sense of autonomy. Although I bring an inner healing perspective to counseling, my clients and I work together to determine the best approach to meet their diverse personalities and experiences.

After graduating with my master’s degree from Regent University in 2016, I have been practicing as a clinical mental health counselor in both private practice and university settings.

I am licensed to practice in the state of Virginia. I am also working towards earning my doctoral degree in Counselor Education & Supervision at William & Mary.
