Life is complicated. And let’s face it, there is no manual for how to navigate each of our experiences. But I believe that we can work together to not only navigate the rough waters, but move towards acceptance, empowerment, self-advocacy, and overall well-being.
I am an LCSW supervisee who received a Masters in Social Work from the Ohio State University, with an emphasis on adult mental health and substance use. In addition, I was a Behavioral Health Workforce Education Training stipend recipient, where I focused on working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ youth and their families. I also have years of experience working within the disability community; particularly those with ID, DD, and/or brain injury, which led to obtaining a certification as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist in December of 2020.
I believe in the strengths that each and everyone of us have and working to empower others to find happiness and stability in their lives. I also like to incorporate cognitive behavioral and solution-focused approaches, and am wanting to learn more regarding the mind-body connection.
We are all deserving of dignity, respect, and love, and it is my goal to help you see that from others. But to also help you discover that within yourself.
I look forward to collaborating with you on your life journey. No matter what life is throwing your way, we want to be here for you.
