Mindfulness and Meditation are time tested and well researched methods for maintaining mental fitness. While the original forms of mindfulness and meditation have come to us from traditions such as Hinduism and Buddhism, these methods have also been found to be valuable in and of themselves. Extensive psychological research has reliably shown improvements in attention, emotional resilience, psychological flexibility, and pain management. While the methods themselves are quite simple, the practice does require training, patience, and dedication. This course has been designed to provide an overview and training of the practice as well as support for developing and maintaining your own personal practice after the course has ended.
