I believe everyone goes through struggles in life. Sometimes these struggles overwhelm people making
them feel helpless. But through the counseling process, an individual can feel safe and heard as they
express themselves without incurring judgment. In conjunction with a counselor, they can come up with
strategies that help them feel less overwhelmed.
I received my masters in clinical mental health counseling from Regent University. I have experience
working with young children who exhibit symptoms of ADHD, Autism, and Conduct Disorder.
Additionally, I have experience working with college students in the area of career development. My
primary treatment orientation involves person-centered therapy as well as solution-focused therapy.
