Master of Social Work & Supervisee in Clinical Social work
You belong. Your goals, needs, passions and struggles are important – and it’s my deep privilege to walk with you, whatever your path holds. With compassionate presence – and mindful of your strengths and history – we’ll work together to nourish insights, strategies, and resources that will best support you in overcoming difficulty and meeting life whole-heartedly.
I bring a person-centered, attachment- and mindfulness-based approach to working with children, teens, and adults relative to issues of trauma, grief, identity, anxiety, and depression (including suicidal ideation), as well as attention deficit, sensory stimulation, and autism spectrum disorders. I also have a special interest in parenting challenges and fostering healthy, supportive relationships of all sorts.
I earned my Masters degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021, completing field placements with Here For the Girls (serving young women diagnosed with breast cancer) and Thrive Virginia (serving youth and adults who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence). I am currently a Supervisee in Social Work working toward licensure under the supervision of Lauren A. Collins, LCSW.
I am also a passionate mindfulness practitioner and certified Mindfulness Instructor and am active in social and racial justice initiatives in the Williamsburg area.
