Jennifer Niles, MA, NCC, RYT-200
Licensed Resident in Counseling
Throughout work and life, I believe strongly in the idea that we’re all just walking each other home. I approach counseling from a holistic, strengths-based, relational perspective, joining with you where you are in your journey. My goal is to work together to help others navigate life’s challenges, uncover moments of growth and meaning, and rediscover their inherent worth and truest selves.
I received my Master’s in counseling from Wake Forest University in 2012. I have experience as a school counselor and as a family clinician, and have worked with individuals across the lifespan experiencing general social-emotional stressors, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and familial and relational challenges. In addition to working with students and families in therapeutic settings, I am a registered yoga and mindfulness teacher with specialized training in trauma-informed practices, yoga for diverse abilities, and the therapeutic application of yoga.
I am a National Certified Counselor and a licensed resident in counseling in Virginia. Additionally, I am a doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision at William & Mary.
