All of us have unique stories to share. In life’s hardest moments, we can find empowerment in these stories and bring meaning to our past, present, and future. My goal as a counselor is to work collaboratively with my clients to facilitate healing and promote growth.

I received my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Specialist degree in Counselor Education from Florida State University. Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Sciences and Psychology also at Florida State University. My counseling experience has included adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples with a range of presenting concerns. Some of these include anxiety, depression, trauma, phase-of-life stressors, grief/bereavement, LGBTQIA+ issues, and family/relationship issues. I am passionate about trauma-informed and culturally competent care.

My therapeutic style is strengths-based, client-centered, and collaborative. It is my belief that all of us possess skills that can be identified and adapted to serve us for the better. I incorporate emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioral, experiential, and narrative techniques into my counseling. I also find it beneficial to draw upon my background in human development and family systems. Most importantly, I strive to meet each client where they are in their individual journey.
