Engaging in a therapeutic relationship with a therapist is a gift often times overlooked. Throughout our journey the struggles of life can occasionally shadow our true potential and experience. I believe that therapy can bring peace, support, and balance to our lives.
With years of experience working with addiction and inpatient services, I have supported clients with seeking resolution from their discomfort, setting healthy boundaries to support a healthy life, finding joy, and resolving pain from their pasts. My approach incorporates honesty, accountability, humor, and unconditional love and support.
I received my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University and am currently in my residency as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
I have been working in the mental Health field for over ten years with significant experience with addiction/substance use treatment, inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations, residential treatment for adolescents and children, family work, depression, anxiety, and attachment issues.
